Soapbox about LGBT

At my daughters birthday party, (one turning 15 and the other turning 16) somehow the LGBT got brought up…  Now, the subject of LGBT is a major soap box for me. First of all, let me remind you that I am Bisexual.  I have been Bisexual since I was 14 years old.  Therefore, if what I am about to says offends you, know that you probably offend me as well, but guess what, life goes on, so get over it. I told my daughter’s friend that anything that comes after the T is just a bunch of people who need to feel special and unique and who just want to label themselves for…. I don’t know…. New Beginnings:

It's a bit sooner then I expected, but I am now the Lead Teacher of the two-year-old room. It's not like I haven't been a Lead Teacher before, but to be honest, I never saw myself getting back into this position again. The last Lead Teaching position that I had made me so burned out that I never wanted to work in Childcare again. After half a year of searching for a career in a different field, however, I discovered that no one would even look at my other skills because my past ten years experience before that was all in Childcare. This was pre-CoVid. I eventually took a position as an Assistant Teacher figuring that I could work in Childcare with minimum responsibilities. Well, that was two-years ago. I work for a good company and get along with my co-workers, now. A few weeks ago the plan was that I would get my own room as a Lead Teacher starting in the middle of July. That gave me a few weeks to adjust to the position at least. Plans changed though, seemingly over night
